About Tonight in Providence

Tonight in Providence is an independent local guide to what’s happening in Providence and the nearby towns: concerts, comedy, theater, free events, food and nightlife, plus local news and Providence history.

The idea is simple: one place to answer “what should we do tonight?”, with every listing checked against the venue’s own calendar, so you don’t show up to a show that moved or a bar that closed. Here’s how we check every listing.

Start with what’s on tonight, this weekend or the free events. Running an event? Submit it here; listings are free. Spot a mistake or want to get in touch? Use our contact page.
