Providence’s outdoor farmers markets wrap up at the end of October, and the big indoor winter market opens on November 7. Days, hours and seasons below are from Farm Fresh RI, which runs most of them (checked October 22, 2026).

Providence Winter Farmers Market
Farm Fresh RI, 10 Sims Avenue (corner of Sims and Kinsley)
Saturdays, 9 AM to 1 PM, starting November 7. Farm Fresh RI calls it the largest indoor farmers market in New England, with full-time, rotating and guest vendors. It takes cash, credit and debit, WIC, SNAP/EBT and Bonus Bucks. No pets inside, per Health Department rules.
Last outdoor markets of 2026
- Armory Park (Farm Fresh RI), Hollywood Road and Parade Street, West End: Thursdays 3 PM to 7 PM or dusk. Last market October 29.
- Hope Street, Lippitt Park, 1015 Hope Street: Saturdays 9 AM to 1 PM. Last market October 31.
- Broad Street (Farm Fresh RI), 807 Broad Street: Saturdays 8 AM to noon. Last market October 31.
- Sankofa World Market, Knight Memorial Library, 275 Elmwood Avenue: Wednesdays 2 PM to 6 PM, May through October.
Farm Fresh RI’s markets take cash, credit and debit, EBT, WIC and the senior farmers market nutrition program. Hope Street and Sankofa are listed in Farm Fresh RI’s statewide guide but aren’t run by it.
