This is opening day of Farm Fresh Rhode Island’s Providence winter farmers market for the 2026–27 season. It runs every Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM through April 24, 2027, at 10 Sims Avenue, on the corner of Sims and Kinsley avenues in the Valley neighborhood.
The regular vendors include farms, bakers, seafood, mushrooms, honey, cheese and chocolate, with guest vendors that change week to week, plus the food businesses that share the building. You can pay with cash, cards, WIC or SNAP/EBT. SNAP shoppers get a dollar-for-dollar match in Bonus Bucks for fruits and vegetables, and card users can swap for Fresh Bucks tokens at the welcome table that work at other Rhode Island markets too.
Two things to know before you go: pets aren’t allowed inside (a Health Department rule), and Kinsley Avenue is one-way, so come in on Sims if you’re driving; there are lot entrances on both streets. The nearest RIPTA stop is Atwells After Harris. The market also takes residential food scraps for composting by the entrance on market mornings.
